Terms of Use
Last updated: March 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Nauthera website at nauthera.io (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Nauthera is an open-source, self-hosted Kubernetes-native identity provider. The Site provides information about the project, documentation, and a waitlist for upcoming features.
Nauthera does not offer a hosted or SaaS product. The software is deployed and operated entirely within your own infrastructure. We are not responsible for your deployment, configuration, or operation of the software.
3. Open-Source License
The Nauthera software is distributed under its applicable open-source license as specified in the project repository at github.com/nauthera. Your use of the software is governed by that license, not these Terms. These Terms govern your use of this website only.
4. Intellectual Property
The Nauthera name, logo, and website content (excluding open-source code) are the property of Nauthera and its contributors. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable trademark law.
5. User Conduct
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability
- Transmit any malicious code, spam, or unsolicited communications
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site in a manner that places undue burden on our systems
6. Waitlist & Communications
By joining our waitlist, you consent to receive occasional product updates and announcements via email through our email provider (Resend). You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
7. Third-Party Services
The Site is hosted on Vercel, uses Cloudflare for DNS and security, and Resend for email delivery. Your use of the Site is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
The Nauthera open-source software is provided without warranty as described in its license. We make no guarantees about the suitability, reliability, or security of the software for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nauthera and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the software, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or security breaches in your deployment.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nauthera and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or your deployment and operation of the software.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Switzerland.
13. Contact
